Voting for the WeDemand competition (and the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to perform in a city with the most fan votes) ended on September 28th.

I came in second–a big surprise!

I’ve been nominated for “Jazz Artist of the Year” by the International Music & Entertainment Association.

It’s official! Out of 2500 applicants, I am one of 20 contestants competing for an all-expenses paid trip to perform in one continental US city “demanded” by the highest number of people.

I was just named “Nimbit artist of the week”!

We recently lost saxophone player George Harper, who played on my album Sophistication.

Last weekend I was the featured singer with the Donald Dean Jazz Quintet at the famous Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach.

Here is our new recording of “Let It Snow.”

My band and I recorded the Christmas song “Let It Snow” at the No Sound Studio in Pasadena last week.

The Under Your Spell album was on top of the M3 Radio Jazz chart for many weeks, and is currently at position 3.

It was a nice surprise to find myself mentioned in Michael Gunter’s science fiction novel “Defying Gravity—Blackwell 2″ this morning.

The album “Under Your Spell” is currently in rotation on over 230 radio stations in the USA and Canada.

The title of the first album by Thisbe Vos was Sophistication, and that might well describe the mood and manner of Under Your Spell, her second CD. As she sings five timeless classics and seven new tunes that she authored, Vos gives the impression of a singer-songwriter who has arrived at the top and who needs only more exposure to comfortably stay there.
