Jazz Performance & Watercolor Art Show in Laguna Beach

We had a wonderful jazz performance at 7 Degrees Gallery on Thursday. I was joined by top LA guitarist Steve Cotter and two-time Gold recording bassist Henry Franklin for an informal concert right around sunset in balmy Laguna Beach, right next to the famous Sawdust Festival.

Dave Evans is a long-time contributor of my music who drove from the San Diego area to attend our event.

Afterward, we went inside and I spoke with attendees about our music and my watercolor artworks, which were on display as part of my debut art show. A great place to have such a first!

The event was hosted by my friend, jewelry designer Anya who is the owner of Anya Elise Jewelry, a boutique jewelry shop with wonderful nature-inspired jewelry pieces made from gold and silver.

After the live jazz performance, we continued playing music from my albums in the gallery.

SOLD!—“Starfish” is going home with Anya

I’ve been painting watercolors for over 30 years, but I had never exhibited my paintings before. I am inspired to continue.

Whatever didn’t sell during the show, I’m planning to auction on eBay in the next few weeks. It’s important to me to clear space to start a new collection. Everything must go! I’ll be sending an email about that soon.

Overall, it was a wonderful event! Thanks to everyone who attended and assisted, and thanks to Anya Elise Jewelry for hosting. :)

Best, Thisbe
